Viso was a privately owned detergent company born in 1961 and based in the southern part of Vietnam. The company that owned the Brand entered into a joint venture with Unilever in 1995. Over the last 10 years, it has come to play a significant role in our Laundry portfolio, with two strategically priced variants - Viso Lemon, which offers you great value for money and Viso Bright White in the premium segment, which was launched in early 2005. Viso, thus, is a local brand with a global Unilever positioning.

Viso Bright White was launched in March 2005 with a focus on setting a new standard of white in the market. March 2006 sees a re-launch of Viso Bright White aimed at whiteness recovery and supported by clutter-breaking, exciting activation involving celebrities in an MTV style. Watch out for the Whitesavers - a band of artists who will travel across the country as a road show rescuing the faded whites of consumers like you.
